Verona - once a peaceful valley, long undisturbed by humans and populated by wolves of every color. They worshiped Iris, the goddess of the rainbow, and thanked her for her generosity to them. The three packs lived in relative peace in their little slice of paradise for generations. However, their serenity was ruined by a deadly drought, which killed both wolves and prey and weakened the inhabitants of Verona. Their weakness was exploited by a self-proclaimed prophet, a crimson-coated wolf named Forte who seized power and instated a cruel system. He claimed it was endorsed by Iris - a color scheme, where the color of a wolf's coat determined their rank. Under his rule - helped by the other red-pelted wolves - he reduced the neutral-colored wolves to pariahs, and had all those with mixed-colored coats executed. So began a reign of prejudice and bigotry so ferocious it was left unchallenged for seven long years.
His daughter, Trinity, now rules the valley, carefully trained by her father to maintain the status quo. But with Forte gone, whispers of rebellion are beginning to rise in the secret places of Verona. Without the tyrannical leader that once held them to their castes, some wolves are beginning to believe that they can overthrow the system for good.
Lush is a new, active, and original semi-realistic wolf roleplay. While odd colors are allowed and encouraged, there is no use of magic [yet]. With a word count of just 200, it's easy for anyone to join and become involved. The plot is open to all and the staff is friendly and active. Staff & high positions need to be filled.
