Nadya stood meekly at the entrance of the Royale Palace, ears pinned and tail twitching to reveal how nervous she was. She was called here by the king, King Fenris himself, to audition for a possibility at being an entertainer to the Royale Family. She gulped and closed her eyes, visibly shifting her posture and mentally steeling herself for the coming event as she shook her head. She stepped up to the doors and inside, looking around the entry hall and seeing other felines, probably waiting for audiences, glance at her. She looked down and padded foreword, sparing a glance around at one feline who hissed. She raised her head and tail to make herself look proud, despite being what many would think to call a 'freak of nature' and padded forwords. She took a seat off to the side, her white pelt would have fit in with the snow leopards if not for the dsitinctive Cheetah look of her body, the long, delicate legs, thin tail, and ruff over her shoulders. Amber eyes glowed out from the black markings around her eyes and she hummed to herself quietly, warming her voice up for her audition, and earning a few glares and hisses of 'shut up' before she looked up, quieting down and waiting to be called in.

Fenris had been in his office all day. Advisors and ambassadors were a daily occurance that the king just put up with. He was clearly annoyed with any cat he didn't like of his suitors and hardly more polite to those he did like. It was lunchtime when the last suitor ran from the king's office, a snow leopard glaring after him. He called in one of his servants and ordered lunch. He was in the mood for something exotic. He made explicit orders that his meal would be taken to the royal ampitheater. He went on ahead to enjoy the gardens and their quiet atmosphere. He needed to relax a bit after so many irritating cats. Fenris just wanted to kill something.
A young hare had made the mistake of snacking on the grass in the royal gardens. Fenris pounced on it and pinned it to the ground, looking hungrily at the squirming mass of fur. Any ordinary cat would have killed the creature outright with a clean blow. Fenris Arei was a totally different sort of character. He bent down and closed his mouth gently over the critter's head and let his teeth brush against its neck. He bit down slowly on the rabbit's neck and relished in having the creature's life placed firmly in his jaws. Without warning, he dropped the rabbit and let it crumple to the ground. He rested on large paw on its abdomen and let his claws slide out. With a single flick, he left four huge gashes on the rabbit's body. He sat back and admired his handiwork. The sadistic cat let one claw cut the rabbit's neck at an agaonizingly slow pace. Unlike ordinary cats, Fenris wanted to see the very life drain out of the hare. The king's paws were stained red with yet another life. He had no intentions of eating the mutilated corpse. He roughly picked the carcass up and flung it hard into the bushes of his garden. No one would have to find it. No one would have to know.
Acting as if nothing had happened, the great king trotted to his ampitheater and waited for lunch to be served. The servant he had called was slightly better than the others and was much more punctual. Fenris had barely settled down before the slave came trotting up with a parcel of meat clamped firmly in its jaws. To humor the king, the slave had also brought along a friend carrying table settings. The two cats worked to set the low table with a finely made cloth and set out a bowl for water and a platter for the meat. Just as the two cats were about to leave, Fenris remembered that he had invited a performer to demonstrate their skill and try for the position as 'Royal Entertainer'. "Ah, slaves! There should be a cheetah at the palace entrance. Bring her here. Now go!" He watched as the two caracals bowed and bolted off.
The king lapped at the cold water and nibbled on the meat. It was fresh and of good quality. That caracal was staying. He ate his meal slowly and quietly. For all his cruelty and malice, Fenris was fond of quiet moments from time to time.
"Talk!" Thought!

Nadya sat quietly, tail twitching from time to time, ears flickering all around the room as many a feline moved around, her eyes observed one or two just generally moving around, servants coming to take some to their appointments, others just sitting around. She watched as a group of ambasadors and advisors walked out, allowing her gaze to follow them for a while until they left. She sighed as she sat in silence, irked by the ammount of stares she was getting, until a pair of carcals approached the entrance, looking around. When one spotted her, they both approached. "His majesty sent us to fetch you, ma'am." One said, she rose to her paws and smiled at them. As they padded through the halls she looked around in wonder, amber eyes taking in details about the many artistic decorations. She then looked at the pair of servant Carcals, both of whom seemed nervous about something, she was curious, and looked around at the passing felines, curious about everything passing her, and mainly nervous about meeting the king. She jumped in surprise as the pair of carcals stopped, she noticed that they had arrived at an ampitheater, she slowly padded inside, immedietly noticing the snow leopard inside, and bowed respectfully. "Your majesty." She murmured politely.
