It had started out as just a simple snooping expedition. She'd left all her dance wear hidden in the bazaar where she knew no one would find it and then the striking woman had gone on a mission that could get her in deep trouble. Purl Innamorata never had and never has had any statues to her name and therefore she held no place here. Her place was in the bazaar dancing or maybe smooching on some cat that does have power not slinking around in the royal families garden like some criminal.
Purl is many things but never a criminal. She pays for the cooked meat from others, gives a few coins to those who let her sleep in their area's. She is no sleazy ally cat. From the way the tigress slank past every one to enter the gardens maze on swift paws to any on lookers would have seen she looked nervous but would they question such a beauty not belonging amongst them? Purl did not know nor did she care, her only worry was being caught by someone who could get her into trouble.
Deep with in the maze of green hedges the small tigress eyes were cast up as she adored the beautiful flowers which surrounded her. Slowly she walked with hardly a sound, glad for once that no one knew she was around. With out the things she wore when she danced around her wrists and ankles she was quite and scarily so. Use to the sounds of music and talk or at least the jangling music of the one bracelet she usually wore around her wrist this silence was almost unbearable. The only thing that made it comfortable was the view before her eyes which occupied her enough. The colors occupied her eyes and all those intoxicating smells took all the focus from her ears.
Hips swaying in their usual way which had become a habit due to her dancing Purl just walked head high and long legs straight to put her just a big over two feet at the shoulders. Suddenly a flicker of moving yellow caught her gaze and predatory pale blue eyes zoned in on it. A large tigertail butterfly flying down the hall of hedges seeming to know where it was going. A spring came into the young tigress steps as she pranced after it. It didn't take long for this one butterfly to lead her to hundreds. A small circular clearing in the hedges with a large butterfly bush along with a small birdbath opened up before her. Standing in awe to one of the many entrances of the little butterfly place she watched as yellow, and red butterflies flew all around almost completely filling the space. Many flew around the giant flowering bush while others ringed the birdbath drinking the water. It was absolutely amazing.
Stepping slowly she moved into the center of their mass by the sweet smelling bush. Watching she stood in the sunlight as butterflies began to land on her pelt and she turned her head to watch them with a smile. They crawled over her pelt and as she lifted her tail to one in the air she watched as the yellow and black striped butterfly landed on the perch she had given it. Giggling she watched the thing shift a little on her tail before taking to the air with lazy flaps of its wings before landing on the tip of her muzzle. Purl's high singsong giggle filled the air as she crossed her eyes to stair at the bug.

wandering through the vast wilderness. Just searching for trouble at every corner. It wasn't Kovu's thing. For Wondering through the Deep discoveries of earth was. Making much noise as he goes about with his thing; thinking of old memories, laughing at them and having a great time all by his lonesome. When night creeps by, it becomes harder for him to see out of his eye. Seeing only grey through his left eye, he sees the faint grass and darkness in his right. He needs to be out of these gardens by nightfall. The reflection of the moonlight shining throughout the land will make it easier for him to see the earth. Until that moment comes, He has time to enjoy the little things in the day.
Flattening the flowers under his muscly body. Creating indents throughout the gardens from wondering around. This was a good place to clear his head From all the old memories he had at this place when he was a kid. Now, he can only think of the memories; not make any of them. He might be able to again one day.
Far out in the distance, he catches a drift of female scent roaming through the air.Kovu swung his head over, making his mane sway in the breeze. He sights a female. stepping a little closer to get a better look, The female was giggling at all the butterflies that seemed to be attracted to her. It was a sight to see; She was a sight to see. Kovu thought to himself. Lying down to try and keep his identity a secret he Observed her unique detail.
Beautiful Blue eyes glistening in the sunlight that hit her Pelt. Pelt filled with butterflies. They seemed to be entertained by her. Crossed eyes and she gazed at the butterfly that was in the tip of her nose. It was cute. Kovu lied there and smiled. Hoping when she sighted her she wouldnt think he was a creep. At that thought he stood up and smelt the flowers as he occasionally glanced up at her.

Purl watched the winged insect open its wings then close them a few times before it took flight. Giggling she pranced after it, her each step more a jump as she playfully followed after it. She was like a cub in this place yet she couldn't help it. Here was like stepping right into a childhood fairy tale of some sorts. How greedy those royals must be to keep it all to them selves. Chasing the butterfly the other ones took off from her pelt but once the one she had her focus on flew high out of her reach Purl stopped to watch it until movement from the corner of her eyes caught her attention.
It wasn't the small colorful movement of a butterfly, no it was the large tan movement of a male lion. Muscles tense her eyes zoomed in on the stranger. Uh oh she'd been caught, at least it wasn't some royal snow leopard. Staring at him the tigress couldn't decide what to do. Should she growl at him, run, smile, what? He could be a guard or a assassin looking for one of the royals for all she knew. He wasn't familiar so she knew he wasn't a duke or anything of that sort and she hadn't seen him in the bazaar before.
Looking him over she noticed his medium size, muscular body, large paws and amazing blue eye but she couldn't help but also notice the white cover over one eye showing he was blind in it. Over all he was an attractive man to her even with the blind eye. He wasn't acting aggressive so maybe he wasn't a guard, who knew? Smiling she tilted her head slightly and swayed her tail, “Well hello there, stranger,” her voice was soft and alluring as she looked at him with her pale blue eyes and little smile.
Purl knew all to well how lighting could play on her form, she knew that her lean body and pelt all brought fire into men and she knew how to play it to her advantage. If this guy was a guard or something of that sort Purl hoped a bit of flirting would soften him. Scars on her would not be fitting and having them just because of her curiosity about the royals great garden would be a terrible twist in luck. _____________________________________
