She needs friends, rivals, a forbidden love interest haha xD, enemies, and I would like for her to become a slave. Not now though.

Perhaps they could be enemies or have a misunderstanding of some sort given your characters dislike of lions? Once they're both accepted, of course!

They both miss their families, and will both possibly be suffering from slavery so they have plenty in common.
