The hustle and bustle of the central bazaar was a perfect place to jsut sit around and wait, seeing as she had been told to meet someone. She'd told the messenger that she'd meet the possible client in the market, as per the client's request, and now sat, grooming herself calmly next to another feline, a black tiger, who seemed to have agreed to meet someone there as well. A glance here and there would give her hints as to if her client had arrived yet or not. She watched as an artisan or two swept by on their way to various stands and homes, the the female clouded leopard had no interest in any of them, only searching for someone who would know her. It was ages before anyone started to even take interest in the clouded leopard sitting next to a tiger, not paying him any mind, getting up to pace once every now and again. Finally, a voice caught her attenion.
"Evening, Lien Kurioes and Sicario Innamorata I assume." She turned with a blank look.
"I am Lien, yes, as to his name you will have to ask him." She gestured to the tiger beside her. After waiting for his response and recieving the conformation the male tiger before her continued.
" I'm not going to pretend that I give a rat's haunch if that monster feels any pain or remorse or even sees your face before he breathes hist last breath. All I want is for him to be dead. Gone. Out of this world. But, I do care that he knows exactly why. I don't care how, but he will get this message-yes, it is part of your contract-'You cannot take what is not yours. Someone will return the favor.'As I said, I don't care how, but he will receive that message.
Other than that, the only thing I ask is that my daughter be returned to me, dead or alive, and that the death appear to be an accident. If it's clear it was murder, the authorities will look to me, which I obviously can't have happening.." Lien yawned.
"Well I at least assumed you wanted someone dead, since you hired an assasin, or two." She spoke simply, boredly, and overal, witih disinterest.
"So, what are the details?"
"The authorities are less than a single step behind this guy, and with the help of my own sources, I'm even closer than that. I have it on good confidence that he, and my daughter, are both in the forgotten dens, for now. He moves often and quickly, so you'll need to be quick. Not to mention, I won't have one more hour of my child's life wasted on his games than is necessary. I'll pay you 40 ivory each when I lay eyes on my daughter once again. If you're wondering why I called you both, don't. I'm certain you're both highly skilled, and more is better. I'm certain intelligent professionals like yourselves can figure out how to work in tandem.
Alright, I believe that's all you need to know. Good luck, and I'll be waiting. Oh, last thing; the two of you are hardly the only assassins to be found in Dolce. If I even smell a doublecross, you'll be the next to receive a message from me." Lien had begun grooming herself about halfway through the tirade, and glanced up at him calmly.
"You have my word, I don't double cross my clients."
