Appearance Tall, lithe, slender, he's very agile. His long legs are finished with perfect, clever paws and long, sharp obsidian claws. His pelt is ebony, and he keeps it in perfect condition. The firelight from his shows always glitters off of his sleek pelt, and sometimes it seems like his fur is alight with the ghost of the flames. He has a couple of white marks where he'd accidentally burnt himself, but the rest of his fur is entirely and completely midnight black. His long black tail is always whipping around, and he's built for moving and twisting and leaping. His eyes are deep sapphire, flecked with amber around the pupil. He carries himself proudly, and has an aura that demands respect. He wears two silver loops on his right ear, and a gold cuff bracelet on his left forepaw. ♫ and only in the center can we begin to repair ♪ Preferences Likes: Sunlight, Hunting, Shadows, Fire Dislikes: Friendly/Joyous cats, slavery Strengths Hunting, Fire-Dancing, Swimming Weaknesses Tracking, Keeping his opinion to himself. Personality He's strong hearted and quick witted. He's always got a sharp comment to make. Commander is quite the force to be reckoned with when he gets an idea in his mind. This is good for his profession, but bad for whoever dares get in an argument with him. He's got quite the opinion, and he truly is disgusted by slavery. Commander thinks that everyone is equal, and should be treated as such. Many a time he has flung someone to the ground for daring to suggest that he's a measly dancer and does nothing to help the city. He's a terrific friend to have, and, though he doesn't make them easily, he's always willing to sit and listen. He's not a bad guy, truly, he just knows that he might be alone with his thoughts. Sometimes he wonders just how different it would be for him if he'd been a part of the royal family, but knows that, no matter what, he would always stick true to his opinions. ♫ can we dream of the pyre of the bodies consumed there ♪ Family Mother - Dead Father - Alive Regrets Leaving home without saying goodbye. Secret Ambitions To become leader of a rebellion to help free the slaves. History He was born into a richer family, and they could afford slaves. They didn't like having smaller slaves, though, and aimed more towards other Jaguars as slaves. When he was about a year old, they bought a new slave. Commander instantly fell for her, and vowed to free her. He took her out to the city and they slipped off to the walls. Just as she was leaping up the side, they were caught by Commander's parents. He fought them off to set the slave free, and she did manage to escape. Commander gave in as soon as she was free, and his parents dragged him home and punished him severely. He kept mostly to himself after that, and eventually left home without ever speaking to his parents. Later, he found out by word on the street that his mother had died of unknown causes. He became a fire-dancer, striking up flames and spinning 'round to gather crowds. He certainly was good, but he did trip a few times and burned himself. ♫ it's a wind-torn world we live with the leaves of shattered glass and the sky with burnished blood and all the promises here are made to be broken ♪ |
