This probably wasn't the best place to be, especially not in the middle of the night but Thylenthis didn't care, he was looking for inspiration and motivation. He wanted something he could relate to for once, didn't want to be surrounded by the endless beauty he saw in the forests and in other places, even the worst of places was beautiful to him in a way.
Disappointment was evident in his eyes as he looked around him and slowly sat down with a heavy thud. In the darkness he could see nearly nothing of the landscape that surrounded his bulky form of black and white contrast. He'd thought maybe the place would look empty, that maybe it would look as abandoned and lonely as he felt but it didn't. It appeared scorched and vengeful, more filled with determined denial than seeming like it just wanted to crumble and die. He found too much promise of revenge in the land, too much emotion. He didn't want to see emotion, he wanted to hide from it, be where nothing could affect him.
Maybe in the light of day when the moon wasn't casting an almost magical effect over the land he may see what he'd come here to find. For now maybe sleeping was the best option, resting and then traveling home when the sun rose in the sky again. He let the rest of his heavy body drop to the earth with yet another thud that sent flurries of ashy earth into the air around him, staining the whites of his coat with a temporary grey look as he laid his head on his paws with a sigh and closed his eyes but sleep wouldn't come to him, instead his mind just wandered and kept him awake by reeling with too many thoughts and feelings to let him relax and just slumber.

Held within night's dark grasp, it would have been hard to spot the woman so delicately sprawled across the thick layer of ashen forest, her body hugging tightly to the shadows of a large boulder. Her body dipped and glided with womanly curves, her deep set eyes focused cleanly on this tom, who looked terribly disappointed. Calypso's face was adorned with a coy smile, the emotion curling up the sides of her velvet lips, watching his every movement like a hawk to prey. He seemed interesting - not really like any other she had yet to study, and there was something about him the cheetah just found alluring. This tom's reasons for choosing such a spot for his evening destination was unknown to Calypso, but she assumed that they were not the same as her own. The woman had come here in hopes of solitude, and a few moments to relish in the painful thoughts that tended to consume her. Anyone could act tough, but to truly not care about the most sensitive of things was unthinkable to this feline's ears. She a sly seducer, who refused to open up easy to others, and guarded her emotions like a treasure, was even hurting. The loss of her son had been unforgettable, and she prays to the Gods for his return.
Calypso let a sigh rumble from her throat, loud enough so that the male would know of her presence on the scene. ''Darling, these lands aren't safe to explore alone; why are you so far from the safe walls of the kingdom, anyway?'' She crooned, lingering a foot or two, though the movement in her body would be almost impossible to see, due to the darkened lightning. He reeked of the guarded palace, and the scent of many others lingered within his own, simply from brushing against a dozen others during his day. ''Not to mention that the tribe cats make their home in this forest.'' The reminder was added for his own good, making sure he knew of the ones who had claimed sections of the lands. A brow remained raised as she waited for a reply, Calypso keeping her distance, but fascinated in the reaction she would arouse from this tom. She found herself observing his alabaster qualities admiringly, for white tigers such as he were rather unknown to the she-cat, resulting in her instant curiousity toward him in general.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [atrb=background,http://i473.photobucket.com/albums/rr96/Rentally_Metarded/thylenthisbg-1.png]A sight caught his attention, an ear twitching slightly at the sound that broke through the otherwise silent night. He wasn't surprised that he hadn't noticed that there was someone else there, he hadn't really been paying much attention, often didn't. The female's words came to his ears and he let out a disinterested puff of air. Not safe? He didn't really care too much whether it was safe or not, maybe if he died he'd stop having to put up with his meaningless life. He didn't even open his blue eyes, pondering over the question of why he was so far from the 'safety' of the kingdom walls, he didn't really feel safe there so really saw no reason not to leave it for the forest where the dangers of the lands roamed by the tribes. He didn't fear them like so many others did, maybe they'd offer him a better meaning in life.
He finally opened his eyes and lifted his head from his paws to glance at the darkness and find the form of the cat that spoke to him. "There's no reason for me not to be here." He commented in a tone that was almost blank, sounding nearly bored though his voice had a somewhat rough quality. He sighed before moving slowly to sit up, his body feeling too heavy for his tired mind to control. He was a bulky creature though it wasn't fat that made him so, he was strong and muscular and powerful. But for all that power he was gentle, though he didn't appear to be, his blue eyes cold and uninviting. "Why are you alone, when you tell me that its dangerous?" She was quite a bit smaller than he was, only being a cheetah as he could now faintly make out by the size and shape of her lithe body. Though he guessed she wasn't in too much danger, probably capable of easily outrunning any threat. He knew he'd have no hope of even keeping up with her a little bit.

Calypso's eyes never left him, a delicate brow raised to a perfect, curious position. A sly smile was etched against her face, interesting in seeing how this alabaster tiger would react or use to retort her choice of words. Until she heard his voice, the woman sat in place, her haunches previously falling to allow her to rest in a more comfortable position. Her shoulders were squared, and the shadows still ran over the length of her agile body, willowy legs locked tightly to keep her body perched and as tall as she could muster it to be. Finally, his voice glided to her, bland in expression, which hadn't really been expected by the cheeetah. She blinked slowly, ears flickering relentless over her head, catching ever word easily so that they could register.
Her voice erupted as a purr, a low chuckle following her own vocals. ''I didn't mean anything by it; most citizens would already be tucked away in their homes, that is it.'' She retorted evenly, letting her body shift to lean toward him, almost as if she had to strain to hear his voice. Even if it was the case, her eyes strained in an attempt to make out his body and features, desiring to know whom exactly she was speaking to. The fact that he was a white tiger and male was evident, but Calypso, at least, liked to properly look at the company in which she was with. Judging emotions by but a voice could be tricky sometimes. ''Unless you prove me wrong, I know these parts better than you do. I live here, and spend everyday within this forest.'' Her explanation was simple, and was finished with an easy shrug of her shoulders. She had more or less dropped any act by now, his tone of voice making her own demeanor indifferent, and rather careless.
An owl hooted in the distance, causing her attention to waver for a moment, searching for the wild bird among the trees. She adored birds, and wondered what it must be like to live so freely. Though it was a childish wish, she desired to know the feelings more than anything. A thought pricked her mind like a needle, once again of Axel. It was always him, her son, that came to mind. He never left; his name always remained, lingering. Despite everything she was, her only son was a treasure from the Gods, and she had been idiotic to give such a precious child up. She'd die to just see him one last time; would the almighty superiors ever be so kind to her?
